Julia Meyers
MA, AMFT & APCC
I’m Julia, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, and a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP).
Being highly sensitive means I naturally experience the world with depth and heightened awareness. I have always noticed the subtle things others might miss: shifts in energy, unspoken emotions, relationship dynamics, and the deeper meaning underneath people’s experiences.
For a long time, I thought being sensitive was something I needed to manage carefully. Over time, I realized it is actually one of my greatest strengths.
It is also a big part of what led me to become a therapist.
I know firsthand what it feels like to overthink, feel deeply, absorb a lot, and question your intuition. I also know how exhausting it can feel when your mind never fully shuts off or when you feel misunderstood in how deeply you experience life.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and deeply personalized. I believe sensitivity is not something to fix or minimize. It is something to understand, trust, and learn how to work with. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, feel more grounded, and trust yourself more deeply.
Because when you truly understand how you are wired, things start to make a lot more sense.

My Training & Education
Since i’ll be asking about you, here’s a little bit about me
I am a big believer in intuition.
I think our inner knowing is often much wiser than we give it credit for.
I love exploring psychology.
I’m endlessly fascinated by psychology and could talk about attachment styles, patterns, and human behavior for hours.
I never skip self-care.
Whether it’s skincare, cozy routines, journaling, or a quiet night in, caring for myself is a regular part of my routine. I value small, intentional rituals that help me stay grounded and emotionally balanced.
